How GlucIQ handles health-adjacent app data.

Last updated: July 4, 2026. This policy is written for App Store readiness and should be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

Information we collect

GlucIQ may process account details, meal photos, nutrition estimates, glucose entries, insulin-context fields, integration status, support messages, and basic technical diagnostics needed to operate the product.

How we use information

We use information to provide meal analysis, editable logging, glucose-context review, support, safety checks, product reliability, and communications users request.

Health and meal data

Meal, glucose, and insulin-context data is sensitive. GlucIQ is designed with a local-first approach where possible. Any cloud processing, support access, or third-party integration should be disclosed in the app flow before users rely on it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be shared only with service providers needed to operate GlucIQ, with connected device providers authorized by the user, with care teams the user chooses to involve, or when legally required.

Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as needed for product operation, support, legal obligations, and user-requested records. Users can request account deletion from the app or by email.

Children

GlucIQ is not directed to children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted personal information, they should contact support.
